Embodied Processing helps you remember this truth on a physical level, in the body, where the stress and undigested life experiences were stashed for safety by a younger you.
And let's have a moment for that resilient and resourceful child! 🙌 They are a brilliant survivalist and an ally in your healing journey. But here's the rub-- the energy stays stuck in the body until you're ready to process it. And it can show up in all kinds of ways: from constant worrying, physical holding patterns, stress, triggers that take you from 0 to 100 in a second, digestive issues, shallow breathing, feeling constantly on edge, sleep disruption and more.
What is Embodied Processing?
Embodied Processing is a gentle approach that works directly with the body to integrate these pockets of unprocessed energy. It's a way to connect deeply with yourself, your inner child and become present to your story. In Embodied Processing sessions we create a container of safety, a sacred space for you to slow down, notice sensations, and let your system lead.
Using the tools of curiosity and compassion, we create a space where the body can release or integrate what has been unwitnessed, stuck, and bring the body back to a set point of calm.
The truth is you are not broken (and you never have been). Your core essence cannot be destroyed. This work is about becoming spacious enough to hold yourself with compassion and allowing that truth of wholeness and innocence to be felt and integrated in your body.
Embodied Processing is a great match for you if:
✓ You’ve been working on past trauma using spiritual or energetic tools and have had great shifts in consciousness, but you know there is a deeper body layer to address. (This was what led me to this work!)
✓ You experienced disconnection from your body early in life and now want to rebuild a relationship with it by learning to be present with its sensations and listening to its wisdom.
✓ You want to deepen your somatic awareness and strengthen your felt sense of the body so you can deal with triggers as they arise-- instead of spiraling out into coping strategies that worked great as a kid but aren't what your adult self needs. (Hello cookies 🍪 and binge watching Netflix!)
✓ You are in recovery from a high-control group and want body-based support to help you release the years of repressing your emotions, desires and truth
Embodied Processing Benefits

Each person’s experience is unique, and these shifts unfold at your body’s own pace. Embodied Processing isn’t about fixing, it’s about presence and being with your body’s story in the gentlest way possible.

What happens in an Embodied Processing Session:
We'll begin with a short check-in and use mindfullness tools such as breathwork and a mini meditation so we can be fully present. We'll set our intention to create a sacred and safe place together.
You can bring a specific unmetabolized life experience you want to explore to the session or a trigger you are currently experiencing-- but it's not necessary. You can come with an open mind and curiosity about what your body would like to show us as the next step on your healing path.
Then we get curious! I will guide you to notice your breath, posture, and bodily sensations as they arise a pace that feels safe and natural to you.
We use your body’s own knowing of how to heal itself and release stored tension and energy. This looks different for each person and even in each session. We will use techniques that work with the vagus nerve, completing stuck fight/flight/freeze/fawn responses, processing deeply embedded emotions and other Embodied Processing tools.
Because I know how powerful these simple techniques can be, I will share simple tools that you can continute to practice at home.
